NEU CS Algin 北美最出名的转码硕士项目之一
其实就相当于一桩买卖，NEU 也被戏称为北美最大夜校，你说它是捞钱专业吧，读完确实可以获得 cs master 学位和大概率大厂实习机会，而且工作个一两年就把学费赚回来了，总之还是 tech 行业太强势太不讲道理…

特点：无门槛转码、提供签证/实习机会（据说和亚麻关系很好）、利于找工。

🔗 The MSCS is 32 credits total.
The Align program is 44 credits. This consists of two semesters of rigorous academic bridge courses and two semesters of Master’s level core courses and electives.
- 校区：硅谷、波士顿（本部）、西雅图、旧金山、Portland、温哥华
🔗 每个校区大概小几百人的样子，sv 机会更多，在读期间 sv 更容易上岸。Van 优点在于三年工签或者 bcpnp，毕业前没上岸也不慌，时间换空间。
房价收入比 确实 van 要比 sv 高 建议有基础、觉得自己第一年就能找到大厂实习的话选 sv，担心身份、中国胃、想用时间换空间的选 Van
20 年在温哥华新开了校区，最大的特色是 cs 专业上了BCPNP的理工硕博名单，但是 cs align 如何并不确定，地里有人问学校说可以，问移民局没有明确答复，因为第一届学生还没毕业，所以无法实证。
ps：但我个人最近觉得，有加拿大毕业的 STEM master 学位，再工作个 1-2 年，就算走 ee cec，无论如何都能上岸了，也不用过于执着BCPNP，pnp也要等，说不定还没cec一年工作经验后快
算了一下，30 岁以下、有这个学位、雅思 8877、1 年加拿大经验、1 年海外经验（加拿大的海外，也就是中国）=530 分，二学位（而不是硕士）508 分，重点还是语言、海外经验、加拿大经验的交叉得分

Align 申请者将获得三个论文提示来代替目的陈述。需要三分之二。他们是：

- 论文 2（250 字） ——我们的一些学生希望将他们的热情与技术结合起来；其他人希望抛开过去的经验，一头扎进计算机科学世界。是什么推动了您向技术转型？
- 可选（250 字） ——如果您认为上述问题没有让您有机会充分了解您自己，请随时使用本部分来强调一些关于您自己的内容，这对于了解您是谁以及是什么驱动您至关重要。
Align applicants are given three essay prompts in lieu of the statement of purpose. Two out of three are required. They are:
- Essay 1 (250 words) – Align students often cite the critical importance of perseverance—the capacity to keep iterating and working a problem. Tell us about a time you had to persevere. How has that shaped your career trajectory?
- Essay 2 (250 words) – Some of our students wish to take their passion and combine it with tech; others wish to leave their past experiences behind and dive head-first into the computer science world. What drives your transition into tech?
- Optional (250 words) – If you believe the above questions have not given you an opportunity to tell us enough about yourself, feel free to use this section to highlight something about yourself that is essential to understanding who you are and what drives you.
